Pre-Season Training sessions:


This year there will be pre-season training for U12s - U18s, commencing on Tuesday 18 February from 5:30pm to 7pm.
This will be for 5 weeks until regular training starts.


 

Training sessions:


Wednesday evenings from 6pm to 7:30pm, (U7s and U8s till 7pm) at Tregenza Oval starting on the 26 March 2014 with skills and fitness. 
Older teams will be required to train on Monday nights as well. 
Players will be advised by their team coaches of any additional or alternative sessions. 
U18s training session dates and times to be discussed and confirmed on registration night with coaches.


 

Registration Day:


Thursday 13 February from 6pm - 8pm at the Club Rooms, Tregenza Oval.   
Registration for all junior teams will be held on the above date where you will have the chance to register for your team.


 

Season Start:


The start of the 2014 season is on Saturday 26 April.

Team Nominations:
This season, in an attempt to minimise late changes to the draw, we are being asked by the South Australian Rugby Union to nominate all our teams by Saturday, 15 March. 
This makes your early registration of crucial importance to us. It also means that we need your help in the recruitment process to begin as soon as you can!


 

Fees:


Subs for 2014 include Old Collegians club tracksuit pants to be worn on Match Days.
The first, and oldest, player pays the full fee for their age group, 2nd and subsequent players in a family pay the family discount fee for their age group.

U7s, U8s & U10s - Full Fee: $165 per player; Family Discount Fee: $130 per player
U12s, U14s, U16s & U18s - Full Fee: $185 per player; Family Discount Fee: $140 per player 
For any parents interested you have the opportunity to become a social member for the cost of $80.


 

Playing Uniform:


Match jerseys are provided for each team. Team managers will roster parents in each team to wash, fold and return the jerseys, by the training night prior to the next week's game.
Players must provide, and label, own socks, shorts, boots, mouth-guard and drinks bottle. 
Team socks and shorts in club colours are available from Powerhouse sports on the Parade, mention Old Collegians and receive a 10% discount off purchases. 
Please note that mouth-guards are compulsory for training and matches. 
Players will require an individual drink bottle for training sessions. 
All body armour and helmets must be IRB (International Rugby Board) approved.


 

Coaches & managers:


We welcome new additions to the coaching and managerial staff and are looking for help for U7, 8 and 10s Look in Contacts


 

Registration Process:


The Junior Registrar will have pre completed ARU (Australian Rugby Union) registration form and medical form ready for completion with this letter for those who have played previously and new ones for new players .  Please update or complete the ARU registration form and fill in the medical form ensuring both forms are signed by a Parent or Guardian if the player is Under 18.
We have also included a Merchandise form. The tracksuit pants are included in your registration fees so we require the correct size to be completed (samples available). If you require any extra merchandise it can also be ordered on registration.
Powerhouse Sports will also be at the club on registration night. They will have a variety of rugby union merchandise available.

Please bring all completed, updated and signed forms, along with payment and copies of BIRTH CERTIFICATES, OR OTHER PROOF OF AGE for each member registering along, on the registration day. We are only able to register players, who complete an annual medical form, ARU registration form, pay fees and provide evidence of age. Non registered players will not be eligible for selection.
We encourage players and parents to attend registration day but if you are unable to, payments can be made in the following way:
