Leigh Garner

 

Leigh Garner was a life member of the club who died in 1974. He was by verbal account a man who liked to share his whisky with others. The left paving and barbecue stands were built from the proceeds of his legacy.

Members then had membership cards (a requirement of the licencing laws). Below is a copy of his card and a copy of the legal document informing the club of the legacy.
