Great to see the Old Guard are still turning out top performances with Chezza and Sandy stepping up with best on ground shows! Just thought I'd drop you a line to say that I hope you see off Brighton in the ANZAC memorial match; I've got a vested interest as I'm back out to Afghanistan in September. Thinking of you all, great to see the club thriving. Packy

I went to school with David. This is an extract from an email to do mostly with organising a high school reunion, but interesting that rugby is such a small world. Chris is David's son.

Hi Paul,
............................................................. I know Alex Rokobara. He played in the Sydney Uni Colts team with Chris a few years ago they went through undefeated champions. I thought Alex was from Brisbane. He played Grade the following year but he had a shoulder reco and then went to Stade Francais in Paris. He and Chris are good mates. Small world.

Hi Paul,
................................. PS Chris (my son) is playing Rugby in the US for the New York Athletic Club with other Aussies, a couple of Welsh, English and Irish as well as the Americans. Games are streamed on the web which is pretty good.

Subject: RE: Alex and Steele-Bodger 15
Hi Paul,
Alex was pleased to be invited to Cambridge last month to play in the Steele-Bodger XV team who took on Cambridge.
This is a traditional lead up to the Cambridge v Oxford game.
Despite going down by a couple of points Alex said it was a great experience.
His name was given a French flavour due to a typo!! He appears as Rokabarc !!
Another success for him was a Man of the Match performance against an Italian team in the Challenge Cup.
We will miss him at Christmas but he has sent gifts.
So watch out for Ben in a Stade Francais jersey!!
Best wishes to you and and all at the club for the festive season.
Regards Merridy
